Looking forward to Misty Mountain book 2. If the next book is anything like this one then I'm going to be reading way more of your books.
I don't think that there was anything that I disliked about this story because it's not mine although I could totally relate two children acting out too frustrated feelings to how hard it is to be a stepparent especially when you are a better parent than their biological one and yet the child always gravitate towards the one who is not giving them the love they need. One thing if this did not touch on is how hard the legal battle for custody is not hard only on the children but on the parents who are trying to do the right thing I don't think that it was left out on purpose because it alludes to it. One of the best things I liked about this book is that it is very real. Family of choice is huge anyway we live our lives and raise our children we don't get to choose who we are genetically connected to but we do get to choose do we have in our lives and I think this book depicts that in a wonderful hopeful way please read it and think about your own story

I. Enjoyed the series between three different generations. In the series, family is chosen not by blood but by love and respect
This was an easy and enjoyable read. I loved all of the characters except Becca. The setting (Misty Mountain) made you want to visit.
Lacy and George The hurts they both have had, the walls, can they find happiness and love. Will people be forgiving if they do become serious. Enjoyable family drama.
