Ridges is a master teacher. His format makes every story easy to follow. I love the book of Mosiah, though I get confused because it has several story lines and flashbacks in history. But Ridges points out how the history fits together, so now everything makes sense. He also explains the symbolism of the Isaiah chapters contained in 2 Nephi, which has given me many "aha" moments as little things finally click for me throughout the entire Book of Mormon. I also love his suggestions on how to mark the scriptures. I have this in print format and on my Kindle. Best commentary ever.Product details

An incredible resource. I like the commentary and scriptures all in one location. A great job for a miraculous record restored for our times.
I really enjoyed reading this book, it made studying the Book of Mormon fun! It explains gospel concepts very clearly and gives added insights to many of the things taught by the Prophets. It is really helping to strengthen my Testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel and the Plan of Salvation.
Great insight in the Book of Mormon that assisted me in my studies. It helped my mother-in-law to find great joy & peace at the end of her life while increasing her testimony of the Book of Mormon.
I already have the original but decided to also purchase this volume as well as I like the way it is laid out with different colors for different comments.
greatest books ever... i've bought every series david ridges has made, and i can say it has def. brought me closer to my Heavenly Father and really helped me understand and love the scriptures so much more. Great examples, and gives information throughout to help you connect the dots. Couldn't recommend more, must get.
I have 3 small children (ranging from 6 to 1 year) and they have really enjoyed the illustrations in this book. The insight Brother Ridges provides helps me to simplify this book to their level and I love that when they can read the size of this book will make it easy to gather around. Just be aware that in text it is the same as his regular BOM made easier
Best commentary of the Book of Mormon I've ever seen! I've learned so much from David J Ridges. He puts things into layman's understanding. I have learned so much from this excellent book! I have actually bought 2 more books of his just because of the commentary on The Book of Mormon. I have yet to be disappointed! I have so much of a greater understanding of the Book of Mormon than ever before. So do yourself and your family a favor! Get this awesome book!
